We are doing very well this year, with membership reaching 33 - mainly due to our publicity team, Neil and Hazel, who organised a series of ads and articles in a local magazine. And last year we were joint winners, along with Huddersfield and Bradford, of the West Riding Challenge Cup.

The Christmas Social was a great success, with a sit-down buffet meal, and party games, including some brain teasers and Mike Tomlinson’s now traditional balloon modelling competition (I’ll get the hang of it one day).

Our summer weekend has been booked for Llandudno in June. This makes a change from Scarborough, which we’ve enjoyed for a couple of years, but we were running out of ideas for videos there.
